What to look for
Subscription sign-up or pricing that doesn't state billing frequency, auto-renewal or how to cancel, or a free trial whose length or card requirement isn't stated.
What good looks like
Billing frequency, renewal, trial length and cancellation are stated near the sign-up.
How to fix it
Add one line under the sign-up button, like 'Billed monthly. Cancel any time from your account.' Say how long any trial is and if a card is needed.
Based on
- UK DMCC Act 2024 (drip pricing, fake reviews)
