For trades

Get more calls and quote requests from your trade website

For most trades, your Google Business Profile and your reviews bring in more work than your website does. But when someone taps through from Google Maps or a recommendation to check you out, your site has a few seconds to get them to call. AgoraScan checks whether it does: tap-to-call on a phone, the areas you cover, reviews, photos of real jobs and a quote form that doesn't put people off.

A real audit of a site like yours

Pipewise Plumbing & Heating: score 68

A demo business website we built and ran through AgoraScan. 41 issues found across 4 pages. Open the full report

  • People find you, then don't call

We check the first screen on a phone: does it say what you do and where, and can people tap your number to call straight away?

  • Customers can't tell if you cover their area

We check that the towns and areas you work in are easy to find, not buried at the bottom of one page.

  • Nothing shows you're the real deal

We look for reviews, photos of real jobs rather than stock images, named people, and accreditations such as Gas Safe, NICEIC or TrustMark where they apply.

Every audit runs the measured accessibility, speed and mobile checks, plus the expert-review rules that apply to your pages. These are the ones written specifically for trades:

Questions

Is my website really where I'm losing work?
Maybe not. For most trades, a complete Google Business Profile with plenty of recent reviews matters first, along with word of mouth and any directories you use, such as Checkatrade or MyBuilder. Your website matters when people click through to check you out before they ring. If they're getting there and not calling, that's what we can help with.
What do you check on a trade website?
Whether your phone number is easy to find and tap on a phone, whether the areas you cover are clear, whether reviews and photos of real work are easy to see, how long your quote form is, and whether accreditations and contact details are visible. We also run speed, mobile and accessibility checks.
I don't have time to fix things myself. Is it still useful?
Yes. Every issue comes with a plain fix and a technical note, so you can send the PDF from the full audit to whoever looks after your site.
How much does it cost?
The first scan is free, with no account or card. A full audit of up to five pages, with the PDF, is £29 including VAT.
